In this class, we will delve deep into Color Theory, strobes with color gels and mixing with ambient Light. All students will take photos of a professional model in the class and do live post-production work on them with the help of instructor Josh Baker. This four-hour course explores mixing contrasting colors to create dynamic portraits. Take your off camera lighting to the artistic side of mixed light with this workshop.

Audience
This class is geared towards photographers who want to expand their creative pallet. You should have a working knowledge of camera basics and how shutter speed, ISO and aperture work together to make an exposure. You should have a beginning to intermediate knowledge of off-camera lighting. This workshop is ideal for photographers who want to try something new and expand their portfolio.
Schedule and Format
This is a four hour class with lecture, hands-on photography and post-production.
In the first hour, we’ll dive into a lecture portion where we discuss color theory and off-camera lighting. The second hour will be dedicated to the students photographing our model. The third hour will be about post production. The fourth hour will be dedicated to a Q&A session.

This class is taught by Photography Instructor Josh Baker.

To Josh, life is one big adventure. He founded AzulOx Visuals in 2009, AzulOx Commercial Photography in 2014 and has been exploring the world and new photographic techniques ever since. Josh loves to use his photographs to tell stories, and he excels in designing creative story-boarded shoots. Josh is passionate about photography and the creative development of his students. He uses a variety of teaching techniques to help his students realize their photographic vision.
Josh is a husband and father to 2 young boys- who are junior models and photographers in training.
