Welcome to On the Road, a Creative Photography Podcast. Photographers spend a lot of time on the road so we decided to use it to make a podcast and bullshit about all things photography. Today we about Ansel Adams, Equipment and Creativity.
“I have often thought that if photography were difficult in the true sense of the term — meaning that the creation of a simple photograph would entail as much time and effort as the production of a good watercolor or etching — there would be a vast improvement in total output. The sheer ease with which we can produce a superficial image often leads to creative disaster.” – Ansel Adams, “A Personal Credo” (1943)
The Tetons and the Snake River (1942) Grand Tetons National Park, Wyoming. National Archives and Records Administration, Records of the National Park Service. (79-AAG-1)
